Romania
After a week traveling through the northern half of Romania, I’m impressed by what a wonderful country this is. I’ve been traveling with videographer Natalia Ciobanu. Instead of posting my usual collection of photos with commentary, I’ll let Natalia’s videos speak for themselves. Please let me know what you think of these videos.
Nick, I haven’t been to Romania, but I did a major hiking trip to Bulgaria four years ago. I found exactly the same ambiance, welcoming people, and very reasonable prices. And the art was incredible, particularly in the ancient monasteries. I would go back to that area of the world in a heartbeat! Safe travels!
Nick and Natalia, I’ve loved being in Romania with you! The colors, architecture (those eyes), the monasteries both their outer appearances and inner paintings, vibrance. In some ways reminds me of the eastern part of the Czech Republic and of Slovakia. I’d so love to go back to visit again. Thank you!
