Improved Personnel modules
August 20, 1997 -- In response to user feedback, the Personnel modules of STARS for DOS have been reworked as of version 1.62.In previous versions of STARS, the process of adding personnel information was relatively slow and cumbersome. Prior to version 1.62, STARS required that a person's address be entered separately from the personal information. Though this data entry process was satisfactory, it was unnecessarily slow.
Starting with version 1.62, a person's complete data record can be entered in one pass from the master personnel list. Address fields can be entered "on the fly", or the address can be picked from the existing address lists contained in the housing table.
